The Jersey Mine historically produced 8 million tonnes of lead-zinc mineralization, at a combined grade of 5.8% lead + zinc. Mining was from a near continuous zone of mineralization that extended for 1800 m by 600 m. Mineralization consists of multiple metre-scale horizons of flat-lying stratabound mineralization hosted within lower Cambrian Laib Formation dolomite and limestone. Historically mined areas of lead-zinc mineralization ranged up to 30 m in true thickness.
A 43-101 compliant lead-zinc resource exists for the Jersey property and Margaux is actively exploring for lead-zinc mineralization to expand this resource. Highlights from the 2016 drill program include:

The company has also completed an extensive program of surface and underground surveying, data entry and QA/QC work to verify historical drill and underground information, in preparation for an updated resource estimate.
